| 1. Mix 1T. yeast with 1and 1/3 C. warm water, pour into a large bowl with 3 Cups all purpose flour, mix well,till smooth,cover with plastic wrap or wet cloth.let stand/raise for 2 hours
2.Disslove 2t.of baking power with 1t. water, mix with the dough an roll the dough on a flour board till smooth again, meanwhile spread some dry flour on the board, so that the flour powder will be knead into the tiny space of the dough, devide large dough into small doughs ( about a big fist size)
knead each small dough into a round ball shape, let stand and raise for another 5 minutes. put into the steamer.
4 put the steamer on the pot over boiling water over high heat for 20 minutes, turn to medium heat, steam for 5 minutes, turn to low heat, steam for final 5 minutes.
5 Turn off heat ,remove the steamer on the flour board, do not open the lid ,stand for 1 minute, then open the lid, so that the Man-to won't shrink. Serve hot!  |
